I’m Olivia Sokolowska and I’m so happy to have you in my kitchen! As both a food lover and registered dietitian, I’ve always been torn between my fascination with nutrition and my love for salted butter. While my fellow dietitians were talking about green juices and vegan cheese, all I wanted was to enjoy a baguette slathered in salted butter while still being able to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
I knew I couldn’t be the only one out there that felt this way, so voilà— Salted Butter Kitchen was born. This blog is all about finding the balance between thoroughly enjoying the richness that is butter & balancing it with low-calorie recipes that make this butter-loving lifestyle possible.

Authentic. I’m not here to say that going gluten-free will help you lose weight, or that the ketogenic diet will cure all your problems. I’m not here to promote fad diets that will give you a quick fix. I’m here to celebrate and share my love for incredible food and the recipes that result from that love.
Balanced. It’s okay to enjoy a thick slab of bread and butter, or that cheese fondue you’ve been craving! Every food you love is within reach, you just have to strike the right balance and eat it mindfully with purpose. All foods have a place at our table.
